Would You Like

Would You Like is a 3D absurdist game about recruiting the citizens of a town to join the COMPANY you work for.  You play as a low level drone who’s first assignment is the spread the reach of the company as much as they can in this town. Achieve this goal by putting up posters, recruiting the citizens, sabotaging the radio with propaganda, and potentially more!

Features:

• Interact with NPCs
  • Interact with the NPCs to recruit them for the COMPANY.  Most will be unwilling to listen at first but as you put up posters, complete tasks, and put propaganda on the radio; it becomes easier to persuade them.
• Upgrades!
  • Scattered throughout the world, you can find upgrades to improve your recruitment chance. Additionally you can find items for purchase but you need to have gotten the capital from recruiting first!

Game was created for the Pirate Software Game Jam 14 with the theme of Its Spreading. While the game has achieved being a minimal viable product, the game was almost not completed so there may be unknown bugs and performance issues.

NOTE: Linux build is untested and was exported from windows

Godot was the engine of choice for this game. Included in the download files are the windows build, the linux build, and the game design document.
